Equipment Agreement

Amprok Energy LLC  ·  Amprok Energy Monitoring Service Monitoring Node Placement Summary

This page is a plain-language summary of the equipment placement terms. The full binding agreement is provided at the time of installation scheduling. [ATTORNEY REVIEW] A complete equipment placement agreement should be drafted and executed prior to any hardware installation.

When you schedule a Amprok Energy Monitoring Service node installation, Amprok Energy LLC will place one or more Monitoring Nodes at your commercial facility. This summary explains what that means for you as the facility owner or operator.

Key Terms at a Glance

Equipment Ownership
All Monitoring Nodes remain the property of Amprok Energy LLC. You do not purchase or lease the hardware — it is placed at your facility as part of your subscription.
Installation Method
Nodes use non-invasive CT clamp technology. Installation does not require downtime, panel shutdowns, or interruption of your electrical service in most cases.
Licensed Contractor
Any installation requiring connection beyond a standard outlet will be performed by or under the direct supervision of a licensed electrical contractor.
No Structural Modification
Monitoring Nodes are designed to be installed without permanent structural modification to your facility or electrical system.
Customer Access Obligation
You agree to provide reasonable access to your facility for installation, periodic maintenance, and retrieval of equipment when the subscription ends.
No Tampering
You agree not to move, modify, disconnect, or attempt to repair Monitoring Nodes. If a node appears damaged or malfunctioning, contact Amprok Energy directly.
Retrieval on Cancellation
When your subscription ends for any reason, Amprok Energy will schedule retrieval of all hardware. You agree to provide access within a reasonable timeframe.
Liability for Damage
You are responsible for damage to Monitoring Nodes caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized tampering. Normal wear and equipment failure are covered by Amprok Energy.

    Site Assessment
An Amprok Energy technician will assess your facility to identify the appropriate feeder location for node placement.

Installation is scheduled at a time convenient for your operations. Most installations are completed in under two hours.
  3. 03
    Non-Invasive Placement
CT clamps are attached to existing conductors without interrupting power. No panel shutdown is required in standard installations.
  4. 04

The technician will verify data transmission before leaving. You will receive confirmation that your dashboard is active.
  5. 05
    Documentation
You will receive a placement record documenting the node location, installation date, and technician information.

Data Collected by the Equipment

Monitoring Nodes collect electrical measurements at the feeder level: voltage, current, power factor, harmonic content, and power quality events. This data is transmitted to Amprok Energy's cloud infrastructure and made available to you through the Amprok Energy Monitoring Service dashboard.

Feeder-level data is also anonymized and aggregated for grid analytics purposes. Individual facility data is not identifiable in aggregated outputs. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Attorney Review Required

[ATTORNEY REVIEW] This summary should be supplemented with a formal Equipment Placement Agreement executed by both parties prior to installation. The agreement should address: (1) specific indemnification for property damage during installation; (2) insurance requirements for both parties; (3) lien or UCC fixture filing considerations for equipment placed on leased commercial property; (4) landlord consent requirements where applicable; (5) force majeure provisions; (6) dispute resolution procedures specific to equipment damage or retrieval disputes.
